Overview
Social innovation plays an important role when it comes to finding new solutions for social or environmental problems. The ASIS project created a new vision of social innovation, by addressing three angles: increasing knowledge, changing behaviour and influencing attitude in the Alpine regions. The project established a new approach of innovation that answers specific economic and societal challenges met by each Alpine area. Furthermore, they showed ways to increase cooperation between territories and social innovation actors. The “White Book on social innovation public policies and strategies” offers an overview of all strategic actions and instruments proposed by the ASIS consortium, together with concrete implementation methodologies and procedures to support national, regional and local authorities to implement the change.
