In a collaborative effort to address the decarbonization challenges of the Alpine arc, public stakeholders and hydrogen solution providers converged on December 8th in Albertville, Savoie, for the hydrogen forum. The day was dedicated to fostering dialogue and sharing experiences to propel the adoption of hydrogen solutions in the region.
In the town of Albertville, Savoie, the hydrogen forum convened, bringing together public stakeholders and hydrogen solution providers. This collaborative event, part of the European project AMETHyST, emphasized knowledge exchange and discussions to address decarbonisation challenges in the Alpine arc. Experience-sharing sessions and exhibitions from industry players underscored the commitment to advancing sustainable hydrogen solutions in the region.
The selected pilot area in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, comprising the five communities of the Assemblée du Pays Tarentaise Vanoise (APTV) and the Communauté d’agglomération Arlysère, is the focus of the AMETHyST project, aiming to connect and coordinate diverse public and private initiatives, studies, and projects in the region to foster the emergence of a mountain hydrogen ecosystem.
The event included insightful presentations on hydrogen initiatives, featuring the experiences of the Urban Community of Dunkirk and the results of two feasibility studies on developing a local hydrogen ecosystem: one study by GEG, Tignes, Ataway and the other by Pays d’évian vallée d’abondance.

The hydrogen forum facilitated valuable interactions between participants and solution providers. Exhibitors such as CVE Group, Lhyfe, SERES Technologies, HRS, Airflow, Régie de Tignes, GEG, Atawey, and HYmpulsion showcased their solutions, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas and insights.
