On Friday 11 October 2023, the “Cool*alps” user forum took place at the Progress Group in Brixen. Progress is a KlimaHaus partner.
Experts from the industry were invited to give presentations on the topic of thermal building component activation (BTA).
Among the renowned speakers were:
Prof. Ph. D. Michele Decarli from UNI Padua, who has been at the forefront of implementing activation in buildings since the beginning and can boast international experience.
Michael Moltinger from the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, who was able to report on the research and realisation of BTA in residential buildings.
Filippo Curi presented the results of his diploma thesis, which he wrote as part of the project at the agency.
Norbert Klammsteiner from the Energytech office showed buildings from his portfolio in South Tyrol and Italy that work with the BTA.
At the end of the event, Arch. Manuel Gschnell, Dear Studio (Merano) and Norbert Verginer, Studio Kontakt (Bressanone), presented the impressive concept study of the new Progress headquarters, also a building with component activation and a number of other features. The participants were able to see for themselves during a tour of the building.
During the subsequent drinks reception, the participants were able to discuss the topic.
