We are happy to announce that our I-SWAMP educational booklet on Alpine Wetlands, titled Wetlands – in nature with your boots, is now available in 5 languages on our project website!
Help your pupils dive into the world of Alpine wetlands with our captivating educational booklet, prepared for children aged 6 to 14, as well as educators and teachers guiding these age groups. Available in PDF, the booklet comes in three language combinations (English-French, Italian-German, Slovenian-German).
Crafted collaboratively by all I-SWAMP project partners, the booklet is a comprehensive resource split into two sections. The first delves into a bit of theory of Alpine wetland ecology, biodiversity, and conservation. The second part includes 13 engaging activities and workshops suitable for students aged 6 to 14 (with potential adaptability for older age groups).
The printed versions in Italian-German and Slovenian-German have already been printed and have in part been ditributed to teachers and educators. The activities have been successfully tested with students of various ages. The booklet features numerous captivating photos, diagrams, and illustrations by our talented friend, Samo.
