TECHTERA is an innovation cluster for the French textile industry. Founded in 2005, TECHTERA supports industry competitiveness via collaborative innovation, networking, and business support, from project conceptualization to marketing innovative products and services.
The company operates in consultation with other organizations to define a strategic roadmap and coordinates these networks of companies, research laboratories, technical centers, and universities to stimulate innovation.
TECHTERA creates and supervises joint R&D projects at the regional, national, European, and international levels. Techtera organizes and leads workshops and work groups to design textile systems that meet the technological and economic challenges of the textile industry.
As per #AlpTextyles, TECHTERA interconnects the project with SMEs in the textile industry and policymakers in the Alpine region, participating in all industry-related actions and leading WP3.
