The study visit was organized by the partner Eurometropole de Strasbourg, which represents the regional authority involved in the H2MA project, in the city of Strasbourg, which serves as the capital of the French region “Grand Est”. Many additional representatives of national delegations, important local stakeholders and H2 value chain players also attended the study visit. As part of the study visit to the city of Strasbourg, the partners of the H2MA project also visited the hydrogen filling station “R-HYNOCA”, which is currently in the final construction phase. Among other things, the partners of the H2MA project, together with various French decision-makers and important stakeholders of the regional (“Grand Est” and “Bourgogne-Franche-Comté” regions) hydrogen value chain, also discussed different approaches to the development and implementation of hydrogen infrastructure and mobility related to the introduction of public H2 passenger transport in various French cities.
