I-SWAMP activities were discussed at several events in Slovenia!

In the last months, Geopark Karawanke/Karawanken staff presented I-SWAMP in three different events in Slovenia.

In October, we took part in the 6th Slovenian Geological Congress in Rogaška Slatina, a scientific event dedicated to geology.

In December, we participated to the Slovenian Geopark Forum.

In February we attended the Alpe Adria Fair in Lubljana.

We took these opportunities to talk about our activities in the protection and monitoring of small Alpine wetlands. We discussed the guidelines and training that will be prepared and provided to local stakeholders. We presented our activities for schools.

All the events were attended by important stakeholders, that can have impact on the conservation of wetland habitats in Slovenia, and can multiply the results of our project.
