How do cooperation and synergy contribute to the success of Alpine Space projects?
This time, we hear from Nicole Bartl, lead partner of Linking Alps in our Alpine master class series!
One of the major difficulties when planning a journey across borders is finding the transport options available in each country and region. LinkingAlps aims to establish a standardised exchange service for travel information so that the information can be integrated to one single service, providing seamless travel information across operators and borders.
The project’s lead partner, Nicole Bartl, told us what made the success of LinkingAlps: “Through our multidisciplinary consortium and a combination of different expertise and knowhow, we could achieve great technical results, compliant with the expectations of the involved stakeholders and also based on their individual state of development. Furthermore, several project partners brought knowledge about parallel implementation going on at topic related projects to ensure future interoperability between all of the systems, between all the initiatives around the OJP standard.”
