The six new classic projects ADAPTNOW, BeyondSnow, MOSAIC, PlanToConnect, TranStat and X-RISK-CC contribute to the first priority of the Interreg Alpine Space programme in 2021-2027, a climate resilient and green Alpine region. PlanToConnect enhances the protection and preservation of nature, biodiversity and green infrastructure, including urban areas, and the reduction of all forms of pollution (specific objective 1.2). The other five projects promote climate change adaption and disaster risk prevention and resilience, taking into account eco-system based approaches (specific objective 1.1).
The seven projects AlpTextyles, AMETHyST, CEFoodCycle, Cradle-ALP, ECOLE, Forest EcoValue and H2MA contribute to our second priority, a carbon neutral and resource sensitive Alpine region. AMETHyST and H2MA promote energy efficiency and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions (specific objective 2.1), while the other five projects promote the transition to a circular and resource efficient economy (specific objective 2.2).
SmartCommUnity contributes to our third priority, innovation and digitalisation supporting a green Alpine region. The project focuses on reaping the benefits of digitalisation for citizens, companies, research organisations and public authorities (specific objective 3.2).
